SimVSM at LogiMAT 2026 – AI-supported digital value stream analysis
Stuttgart, 24–26 March 2026 – At LogiMAT 2026, the international trade fair for intralogistics solutions and process management, SimPlan will be focusing on digital value stream analysis with SimVSM.
SimPlan will be presenting the app in Hall 4, Stand 4B02, where it will demonstrate how classic value stream mapping can be efficiently digitised, analysed and further developed.
Digital value stream analysis instead of paper
Value stream analyses are still carried out on paper in many companies, often using so-called brown papers. This method is well established, but it makes it difficult to digitally process and evaluate the results.
SimVSM closes this gap. The app enables the digital recording, visualisation and analysis of value streams directly at the process. This greatly simplifies the transition from classic value stream analysis to digital process improvement.
AI digitises brown papers automatically
A key highlight of the new SimVSM version is the integrated AI function. It recognises hand-drawn brown papers and automatically converts them into digital value stream models. Manual transfer to software is no longer necessary.
The digitised value streams can then be further processed directly in SimVSM. This means that a paper-based recording can be turned into a usable digital model in a short space of time.
Analysis, key figures and further development
Once digitised, all functions of digital value stream analysis are available. Users can analyse, adjust and further develop value streams. Typical key figures such as throughput times, inventories or process steps are displayed transparently and support the identification of potential improvements.
SimVSM is suitable for actual analysis as well as for the development of target value streams and the preparation of further optimisation measures.
Mobile use directly in the process
SimVSM is available as an app for Android, iOS and Windows. Mobile use enables value stream mapping directly in production and logistics without media breaks. Tablets, smartphones or laptops can be used flexibly.
The free use of the app makes it easy to get started with digital value stream analysis and makes SimVSM attractive for both lean beginners and experienced users.
Experience SimVSM live at LogiMAT 2026
At LogiMAT 2026 from 24 to 26 March in Stuttgart, SimPlan will be demonstrating how SimVSM is used in practice at stand 4B02 in hall 4. Visitors can experience live how brown papers are digitised with AI support and how value streams can be analysed efficiently.
The trade fair thus offers an ideal opportunity to learn about digital value stream analysis, lean methods and AI-supported process improvement and to get to know SimVSM in direct use.
