Digitally capturing, analysing and simulating value streams
How can processes in production or service be presented transparently and evaluated effectively, even when interactions and fluctuations come into play?
Value stream mapping is an established lean tool for capturing processes in a structured way and visualising key metrics such as lead times, stock levels or process quality. However, traditional value stream models primarily provide static perspectives and reach their limits when dealing with dynamic issues.
In this online webinar, we will introduce the SimVSM app. It demonstrates how value streams can be digitally modelled and analysed directly on a tablet or desktop. The app-based drag-and-drop capture enables a quick start and supports evaluation even during modelling using static key performance indicators.
In addition, we will provide an insight into simulation with SimVSM Pro. Using random variables and disturbance variables, we will demonstrate how processes behave over time and how simulation helps to realistically compare variants and prepare well-founded decisions.
